I'm not inclined to give such an assessment . Even in the art world , much more exalted than ours , has no less mediocrity . Even today there are many Albanian art mediocrity , although no dictatorship . Mediocrity is not the only attribute of dictatorships . But taking away the freedom of creating art , dictatorship increases the chances for mediocrity . However , under oppressive regimes arise masterpiece . In the Albanian case the most obvious fact , of the publicly affirmed , Kadare is creativity .
